Homemade Shampoo

 Have ever thought of making your own shampoo at home? I had always wanted to but just don't know how until I found this homemade shampoo recipes.
I think some of you may find that the shampoo in the stores have a long list of ingredients that you don't really know what they are. You  may be allergic to some of the ingredients but you just cant figure it out because of the chemical names they use. As for me I am very particular about the ingredients of any thing that I eat and use.

Homemade - Shampoo

2 tablespoons (30 ml) dried
1 teaspoon (5 ml) almond or apricot kernel oil
2 drops essential oil
2 tablespoons (30 ml) liquid castile soap
1 cup (250 ml) spring water
1/4 cup (50 ml) fresh herbs


To do it
1: Place herbs in a clean 10 ounce (284 g) glass jar with a lid.
2: Boil the spring water and pour over the herbs.
3: Cover and let steep for 10 to 20 minutes.
4: Strain the liquid castile soap and almond or apricot kernel oil and mix completely.
5: Add the liquid castile soap and almond or apricot kernel oil and mix completely.
6: Scent with essential oil and mix again.
7: Bottle the solution in a plastic container with a spout. This can also be placed in a clean recycled shampoo bottle.
